O'DOAN

A daughter was born to Brandy Hanson, of Riverton, and William O'Doan, of Elko, Nev., at 7:27 a.m. Aug. 14, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

Deaths

ADDISON

Lee S. Addison II, 24, died Monday, Aug. 20, in Elephant Butte, N.M. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at St. Stephens Mission with Father John officiating. A rosary and wake were Monday, Aug. 27, at No. 780 Rendezvous Road, St. Stephens. Interment will be in the Sharp Nose Cemetery at Arapahoe.

DEWEY

Shauna Lee Dewey, of Riverton, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. A visitation will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Both are in the Chapel of Mount Hope at Hudson's Funeral Home. The visitation will end at 8:30 p.m. The second night of visitation will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the Blue Sky Hall with rosary to begin at 7 p.m. This visitation will also end at 8:30 p.m. Then it will be moved to the family home for the rest of the night. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. in the Blue Sky Hall with Catholic clergy presiding. Burial will follow at Sharp Nose Cemetery.

Emergency calls

In Riverton Police Department reports Friday to Tuesday morning:

- Benjamin Piper, 47, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 3:45 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard.

- Steven Hines, 52, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication and open container at about 9:35 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Gabriel Moss, 40, of Arapahoe, was arrested for assault at about 5:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of West Main Street. Officers were responding to reports of a family fight.

- Brian Bell, 41, of Riverton, was arrested on a municipal warrant at about 8:45 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Joseph Babcock, 23, of Riverton, was arrested for destruction of property at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of North First Street. During the same incident, Shanell Hubbard, 23, of Riverton, was arrested for disturbing the peace. Officers were responding to reports of a fight.

- Newton Irish, 36, of Riverton, was arrested for burglary and public intoxication at about 6:50 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Fremont Avenue. According to reports, he was apprehended while breaking into a vehicle in the area. Officers said he had removed speakers and a purse from the vehicle.

- David Burt, 22, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant at about 8:10 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Forest Drive.

- Thunder Littlethunder, 21, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant and for resisting arrest at about 9:15 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Federal Boulevard.

- Bonnie Lobdell, 47, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence at about 1:10 p.m. Sunday on Maple Street in Riverton.

- David Killsree, 34, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication and municipal warrants at about 10:35 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Forest Drive.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Friday to Tuesday morning:

- Maurice Bell, 28, of Riverton, was arrested for pedestrian under the influence and interference with police.

- Maude Capitan, 43, of Fort Washakie, was arrested for simple assault.

- Frank Fonseca, 45, of Lander, was arrested for simple assault.

- Steven Hayes, 58, of Riverton, was arrested for probation violation.

- Michael Mathews, 29, of Riverton, was arrested on a warrant for probation revocation.

- Santiago Ocon, 56, of Riverton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at about 9 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of South Federal Boulevard.

- James Tilghman, 55, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence and open container.

- Tana Papse, 39, of Fort Washakie, was arrested for driving under the influence and on a warrant for probation revocation.

- Officials located a stolen 2010 Dodge truck from Albany County at about 10 a.m. Monday in rural Pavillion. According to reports, the vehicle had crashed into a power pole in the 200 block of Ocean View Road. FCSO Captain Ryan Lee said the truck collided with a guide wire on one of the power poles adjacent to the roadway. The vehicle was reportedly unoccupied when it was discovered by a passing motorist in the area. There are no suspects at this time; Lee said the vehicle was impounded and will be returned to its owner after it has been processed for evidence.

- At 7:24 a.m. Tuesday Fremont County responders took a report of a vehicle collision on Sinks Canyon Road near the top of the switchbacks. The initial caller reported that a vehicle had left he roadway and the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was injured. It was also reported that the driver had been awaiting assistance for several hours. Preliminary findings as of 9 a.m. indicated that a medium-size sport utility vehicle had run off of the roadway and traveled about 100 feet down on an approximate 60 percent grade off of the Loop Road. Officials said the incident took place at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The driver was taken to the Lander Regional Medical Center.
