P.E.O. awards education grantAug 31, 2012 - From staff reports Philanthropic Education Organization members Myrt McFarland, Alice McLean and Ellen Strube of Riverton's Chapter H awarded Amanda Piercy an education grant for $2,500 through the Program for Continuing Education. P.E.O. provides finanical assistance through loans and grants to women who want to further their education. Piercy said she will use the grant to complete her degree in elementary education from the University of Wyoming. She plans to graduate in the fall of 2013. |
