A Lion of a move

Building moved - 1984 (part 2)

Sep 2, 2012 - Staff

Building mover Martin Mazurie of Maz's House and Mobile Home Movers in Lander provided more information during the week about this moving job in 1984. Mazurie moved the old Riverton Lions Club Youth Center building not one, but twice. First came the move to the HISR00;Youth Ranch in rural Riverton, pictured here. Several years later it was sold, and Mazurie's company was called upon again to move the log structure. The second move was more complicated, all the way to Pinedale. That's Mazurie crouching under the building (dark shirt), with fellow mover Dana Finlyason (white shirt) on the original move in August 1984. File photo
