Road repairs at Boysen State Park will affect access in areas

Sep 9, 2012 - From staff reports

Asphalt road repair and resurfacing at Boysen State Park during the next couple weeks will result in the closure of the Lower Wind River Campground and possible delays at other venues within the park.

Lower Wind River Campground will be closed through at least Sept. 16 to allow for road repairs. Resurfacing will also take place in the Upper Wind River campground; however, the campground is not expected to be closed.

Resurfacing is expected to take place at the Tough Creek Campground from Sept. 10-12, weather permitting. The Tough Creek boat ramp is expected to remain open during the project.

PMI Construction from Cody and 71 Construction from Riverton have both been awarded the contracts for the improvements.
