Theron Quiver

Theron Quiver died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. He was 18 years old.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Blue Sky Hall. Interment will be in the Yellowcalf Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 27, 1993, in Lander, the son of Marliss Quiver and the late Edward Soundingsides.

He attended schools at Flandreau Indian School and Wyoming Indian.

His family said he enjoyed playing games, basketball, going to the casino and hanging out with his family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Susan Chippewa; mother Marliss Quiver; adopted mothers Carol Goggles, Salina "Kissie" Quiver and Frances Addison; godmother Linda Goggles; godfather White Sun Goggles; namesake Theron D. Spoonhunter; sisters Jolynn and Grant Fletcher, Annie and Krey Whiteplume, Justine Quiver, Jacinta Edmo, Kerissa Killsontop, Latonia and Rodney Killsontop, April and Patrick Soundingsides, Dawn Soundingside, Marlene and Josh Wallowing-Bull, Paula Redman, Mardell C'Bearing and Tamara and Taleah Medicine Cloud; brothers Derek and Jen Quiver, Les and Kayla Quiver, Clayton Wallowingbull, Ruben and Alicia Quiver, Nick Whiteplume, Nick and Adele Arthur, Ricky Edmo Jr., Charlie, Eddie and Guy Soundingsides, Sonny, Sherman, Neal, Levi and Brandon and Jerry Redman Jr.; grandparents Irenice Noseep, Mary Alice Addison, Julia Quiver Whiteman, Laverne Hutchison, Theresa Marie Wells, Haroldine Whitewolf, Alrita Talksdifferent, Tillie Jenkins, Flora and Cora Willow, Richard Willow, Terry, Harvey and Marlin Spoonhunter, Matthew and Willard Noseep, Les and Floyd Willow, aunts; Cleo Goggles, Marcellia and Jerry Redman, Lois Quiver, Pam and Tyson Lock, Sophia Noseep, Zola and Orlena Killsontop, Jo Ella and Lyle Guardipe and Ruby and Burnette Whiteplume; uncles Lyle, Mike and Wesley Quiver Sr., Alan Jenkins Sr., Willard Wells and Bryson Whitewolf; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Elva Quiver; grandparents Ruben Quiver, Marlene Noseep, Clina and Albert Wilow, Nick and Alice Quiver and Virginia Noseep; aunts Charlotte Felter, Ruth Noseep, Thelma Medicine Cloud and Roxanne Quiver; uncles Edlore, Alvin, Amiel and Sherman Quiver Sr., Keith Goggles, John Yellowplume and Jessie Day.
