Sep 26, 2012 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff WriterThe Lady Wolverines (2-3 Class 4-A West) are in fourth place in the conference standings.
It's back to the conference volleyball court for the Riverton Lady Wolverines as they prepare to host the Casper Natrona Fillies Thursday and the Class 4-A West conference-leading Evanston Lady Red Devils Saturday. Both games are at Wolverine Gym.
Thursday's game against Natrona will be the second time the two teams have met in conference play and the third time overall.
The Lady Wolverines (2-3 Class 4-A West) are in fourth place in conference standings. Riverton swept the Fillies (1-4 Class 4-A West) in their previous matches this year. It may be a different story Saturday when Evanston is Riverton's opponent for RHS senior day. The Lady Wolverines will recognize seniors Kristen Bailey, Miranda Hosking, Ashley Lynott, Bree Olson, Baylee Stafford, Kylee Trees and Amy Woodward. RHS head coach Adrian McNamee had thought the Lady Red Devils could be her team's toughest conference opponent this year, and their league leading 5-0 record is proving that idea to be true. Game time for Saturday's match is 2 p.m.
There is no admission charge for regular season home games in Wolverine Gym.
