The Riverton Lady Wolverines swim team will have a rare weekend off. A dual meet with Powell scheduled for Friday at the Riverton Aquatic Center has been cancelled, according to Riverton High School activities director Jeremy Hill. The Lady Wolverines will travel to Sheridan next Friday, Oct. 6 for their next meet. Last weekend in Worland, Jordan Settlemire was Riverton's only event winner. Settlemire swam a 1:08.63 to win the 100-yard butterfly in the small meet that included Lander, Worland, Cody, Powell and a small group from Newcastle. Settlemire, with six state qualifying times, and Karissa Kister, with one state "Q" time, are the only Lady Wolverines who have qualified for the state meet thus far in individual events.
