Sep 30, 2012 - StaffJean Marie Chapel-Schmuck of Thermopolis, granddaughter of Donna and Terry Schmuck of Riverton, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colo. She was 19 months old.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at the Riverside Cemetery, with Chris Vosler officiating.
Jean Marie Chapel-Schmuck was born prematurely on Feb. 10, 2011, in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Crystal Chapel-Schmuck and Rhyan Schmuck.
She was baptized while in the hospital.
Her family said she enjoyed bothering her brother and sister and could outcrawl their walk. She loved the outdoors whether rain or shine and did not like to wear shoes. People always stopped to admire her bright blue eyes.
She is survived by her parents, brother Patrick Chapel, sister Kaitlyn, grandparents Steve and Lois Chapel of Thermopolis and Donna and Terry Schmuck of Riverton, and great-grandmothers Elaine Chapel of Thermopolis and Dorothy Schmuck of Mackey, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by both of her great-grandfathers.
