CASPER -- A man accused of shooting his older brother to death in Mills has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter.

Casper police and prosecutors say Aaron Michael Gish was arrested Thursday and made his initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court in Casper on Friday.

Police say they were called to a home Sept. 17 and found Gish's brother, Ryan Gish, with a single gunshot wound near the abdomen and chest area.

The victim died at a hospital.

Police say Aaron Gish told them he was manipulating a pistol and talking to his brother when he squeezed the trigger by mistake.

Coroner Connie Jacobson has ruled the shooting accidental.
