Deputies cite Riverton men for littering

Oct 4, 2012 - From staff reports

Two Riverton residents were cited Tuesday for illegally dumping litter on Bushwacker Road near the trash transfer station that serves Shoshoni-area residents.

Fremont County Sheriff's Office deputies have been conducting extra patrols near the Bushwacker transfer station because of illegal dumping in the area.

On Tuesday, deputies said they were patrolling Bushwacker Road when they located two subjects illegally dumping trash and furniture north of the transfer station along a two-track road on Bureau of Reclamation land. The two men were contacted and cited for littering. They also picked up the trash.

The men were Tilton Collins, 32, of Riverton, and Kolby Higinbotham, 21, of Riverton.
