Oct 5, 2012 - StaffMarjorie J. "Margie" Lettich died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Wind River Health Care Center in Riverton. She was 89 years old.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, and no services are scheduled.
Marjorie Jean "Margie" Lettich was born Jan. 11, 1923, in Doniphan, Mo., the daughter of Carey Orville and May (Merriman) Frederick.
She worked as a public employee for the State of California for 30 years, cooking hot lunches for elementary school children.
She lived 60 years in California before moving to Wyoming five years ago to live with her daughter and son-in-law in Riverton.
Her family said she enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading historic novels. She also enjoyed all the wonderful people at the Riverton Art Guild who made her feel so welcome.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Lynn Spillman and her husband William of Riverton; nieces Tracy Wichelhaus of Riverton and Diane Ward of Illinois; nephews James Tilley of Riverton and Gary Frederick Ward of Illinois; brother-in-law Jerry Webb of Albuquerque, N.M.; and sister-in-law Margrett Tilley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Lettich; daughter Arla Jean Cresci; sister Lois Hofstetter; and brother Glenn Merriman Frederick.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
