Oct 7, 2012 - From staff reportsThe Lander Library will continue to broadcast high-definition screenings of performances this season by New York's Metropolitan Opera.
This year's lineup begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, when "L'Elisir d'Amore" will play at the Lander Library.
The show should last about three hours and costs $5 for students and $10 for adults. Organizers said the donations are sent to the Metropolitan Opera.
The performances are shown with subtitles on a large screen in the library's second floor conference room.
Lunch on the day of each performance can be pre-ordered and enjoyed during a 30-minute intermission.
