Residents advised to avoid Airport Road on FridayOct 18, 2012 - Staff City officials have asked residents to avoid Airport Road while construction is ongoing in the area. In particular, city administrator Steven Weaver said motorists should avoid the road Friday, when workers will pour 700 cubic yards of concrete to prepare for the installation of a 2 million gallon water tank. "There's going to be a lot of trucks up there," Weaver said. "Just avoid that area; go around it." The tank should improve water service for residents in the northwest portion of Riverton, where growth is expected in the coming years. |
