Dorothy Marie Wilson was born June 11, 1937, in Paxton, Neb., to Glenn and Nela Cox. As a devoted mother, Mrs. Wilson raised her seven children and helped work the family farm in Lyons Valley and later on North Second Street.
Her family said that of all her accomplishments, her greatest achievements were in the lives of her family. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun and family values. She leaves all her children, grandchildren and sister with the knowledge that they were truly loved.
She is survived by her children, Doug and Valorie Wilson, Sherrie and Fred Cox, Janet and Kevin Hart, Kayelene and Mark Heller, Linda and Pat Heller, Jarrett and Beth Wilson, and Amy and Casey Haase; sister Evelyn Gustin; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Wilson; parents Glen and Nela Cox; sister Eileen Pickinpaugh; brothers Ralph Cox and William Cox; and two granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be left with the family for a charity of their choice.
Services are under the direction of the Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander.
