Wyoming State Winter Fair events underway

Feb 26, 2012 - Staff

Wyoming State Winter Fair events in Lander are under way with the horse show and miniature bull-riding happening on Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association arena.

The horse show begins at 9 a.m. with poles and barrels events starting at 2 p.m. The miniature bull-riding event starts at 7 p.m.

The horse show does not have an admission but the bull-riding event will cost $20 for a family or $7 for an individual.

The Wyoming State Winter Fair trade show will be March 1-3 at the Bob Carey Memorial Fieldhouse in Lander. Organizers reported that more than half of the vendors attending are new to the event.

Main floor vendor spaces have been sold out for three weeks, while one space remained on the balcony level, organizers said.
