Deaths

ANDRE

Julia 'Judy" Andre, 79, of Riverton, died Friday, Nov. 2, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church with Father Demetrio officiating. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church.

CARPENTER

Lewis Gilbert Carpenter, formerly of Lander, died Sunday, Nov. 4, in Boise, Idaho. A funeral service has been arranged for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Bethel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. A full obituary will follow at a later date.

FAWSON

Chad R. Fawson, 37, of Lander, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, near Dickinson, N.D., as the result of an accident. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home in Lander.

FOSTER

Carol J. Foster, 67, of Lander, died Friday, Nov. 2. A rosary will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, and funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander.

HILL

Marion Lois Hill, of Lander, died Sunday, Nov. 4, in Riverton. Memorial service arrangements are pending through Hudson's Funeral Home.

TRIMMER

Phoebe Miriam (Morgan) Trimmer, 90, formerly of Lander, died Thursday, Nov. 1, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. May 25 in Worland. More details will be announced at a later date.

Jamie Nabozny Presentation is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverton Branch Library, 1330 W. Park Ave.

"Up Heartbreak Hill" Documentary Screening is at 7 p.m. at the Shoshone Rose Casino, 5690 U.S. 287, Lander. There will be a Q&A with community panelists after.

NOV. 8

Climate Change Debate is at 3 p.m. in room 171 of the main hall at Central Wyoming College, Riverton. The students will discuss and debate how climate change affects Wyoming's wildlife population during the event, which is called "Dine, Debate and Deliberate." The public is welcome, complimentary pizza will be served.

Wind River School Veterans Day Program is at 3 p.m. at Wind River High School Gymnasium, 1994 N. Cougar Drive, Pavillion. A reception will follow for veterans, their families and guests.

"Up Heartbreak Hill" Documentary Screening is at 7 p.m. at the Lander Library, 200 Amoretti St., Lander.

Emergency calls

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Tuesday morning:

- Sherry Bell, 26, of Ethete, was arrested on a warrant out of Burleigh County, N.D.

- Delmonte Shakespeare, 29, of Ethete, was arrested for driving under the influence and no insurance at about 12:10 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of South Federal Boulevard in Riverton.

- Jason Bowen, 32, of Riverton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

In Riverton Police Department weekend reports through Tuesday morning:

- Kenneth Shakespeare, 26, of Arapahoe, was arrested for failure to appear at about 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of East Fremont Avenue.

- Randall Evans, 28, of Billings, Mont., was arrested for public intoxication at about 9:56 p.m. Friday at the Fremont County Alcohol Crisis Center.

- Cleone Guina, 21, of Ethete, was arrested for contempt of court at about 11 p.m. Friday on Sioux Avenue. With her was Colette Antelope, 20, of Ethete, who was arrested for minor in possession and probation revocation.

- Allen Whiteman, 51, of Riverton, was arrested for contempt of court at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of South Federal Boulevard.

- Steven Carnes, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of .13 at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Sunset Drive. With him was Chad Gardner, 29, of Riverton, and Jennifer Aycock, 32, of Riverton, who were both arrested for disturbing the peace.

- Robert Felter, 21, of Ethete, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under suspension and no insurance at about 3 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Adams and Birch avenues.

- Mario Marin, 26, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of .17 and no insurance at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of North Federal Boulevard. With him was Vanessa Seminole, 27, of Riverton, who was arrested for driving under the influence and interference.

- Clowry Means, 45, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 10:45 a.m. Sunday at City Park.

- Craig Isabell, 22, of Riverton, was arrested for probation revocation at about 2 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard.

- Randall Evans, 28, of Billings, Mont., was arrested for assault and public intoxication at about 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of West Adams Avenue.

- Brian Cousineau, 26, of Riverton, was arrested on a courtesy hold for probation and parole at about 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Major Avenue.
