LOVATO

Esther "Frances" Lovato, 93, of Riverton, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church with father Demetrio Penascoza officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church.

LYE

John W. Lye, 88, of Riverton, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Brookfield, Wis. He will be buried in a private service at the Wyoming Veterans Cemetery near Casper.

TUSS

Phillip Wayne Tuss, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at his home in Riverton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Davis Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Davis Funeral Home.

WARREN

Angela "Angie" Dewey Warren, 42, died Sunday, Nov. 11, at Casper Medical Center in Casper. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Father Vincent Albano will officiate. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at St. Stephen's Church, viewing at Eagle Hall, followed by a wake at 393 Left Hand Spur Road. Burial will be at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery.

Eastern Shoshone Boys and Girls Club Turkey Trot 5k Race is at 10 a.m. in Fort Washakie. Runners will meet at the Boys and Girls Club, and there will be awards in adult and youth divisions. Registration is $10.

Transitions, hosted by Help for Health, is 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Little Theater at the Lander Library, 200 Amoretti St., Lander. Memorial Awareness Walk is at 11 a.m. Nov. 17 from Wind River Stone to Hudson Town Hall in Hudson. The walk is in memory of Eric C. Likes and Elva C. Quiver.

Bailey Tire Tip-off is 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Central Wyoming College, Riverton. The Rustler women's team plays at 5:30 p.m., and the men play at 7:30 p.m.

Lander Children's Museum Monte Carlo Affair is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Lander Best Western, 260 Grandview Drive. Admission is $30 a person. Adults only please. Join in for an evening of fun -- casino-style games and live and silent auctions. There will be heavy appetizers served and a full bar available.

Emergency calls

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- Rick Richards, 40, of Lander, was arrested for driving under the influence, open container and no valid driver's license.

In Riverton Police Department reports Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- Claude Duran, 26, of Riverton, was arrested for aggravated assault and possession of marijuana at about 12:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of North Federal Boulevard. With him was Shado Duran, 24, of Clovis, N.M., who was arrested for interference. According to reports, officers were responding to a call from a woman who said she had been assaulted. Police said Claude Duran had a knife in his hand when he punched the woman twice in the face, and on the second blow he reportedly stabbed her in the lip. Shado Duran reportedly lied to police about his name and other information. Officers said Claude Duran's blood-alcohol content was .32, while Shado Duran's was measured at .21.

- Steven Amos, 41, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Ninth Street East. With him was Rose Gasson, 42, of Arapahoe, who was arrested for open container and on two warrants for contempt of court.

- Yvette Blackburn, 48, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication and on two warrants for contempt of court at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of East Main Street. With her was Crystal Spoonhunter, 37, of Riverton, who was arrested for contempt of court.
