Nov 16, 2012 - StaffNate Messenger, a mechanic with Classic Aviation, helped steady the tail of a crashed helicopter as crews with Jerry Bornhoft Construction lowered the helicopter onto a tow truck Thursday evening north of Gas Hills Road. According to reports, the 1996 Bell 407 helicopter crash-landed Thursday morning after hitting a set of power lines. Classic Aviation operates an air ambulance service based in Riverton, but no patients were on board at the time of the accident.
