Nov 20, 2012 - By Katie Roenigk, Staff WriterCounty officials are investigating the death of Robin Gilpin, 48, of Riverton, whose body was found Saturday at her parents' gravesite in the Mountain View Cemetery, 3540 W. Main St.
"She was actually leaning up against the stone," Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan said Tuesday.
He wasn't sure how long Gilpin had been at the cemetery, but he said she may have stayed there overnight.
A preliminary autopsy was inconclusive, and McAuslan said it would take several weeks to determine the cause of Gilpin's death. According to initial reports, she was "cold to the touch and not breathing" when she was found.
An investigation will continue through the Fremont County Coroner's Office and the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.
