Memorial on campus for victims in Nov. 30 Casper College killings

Dec 4, 2012 - The Associated Press

CASPER A memorial service at Casper College will honor the victims of a grisly murder-suicide that happened on campus last week.

The memorial is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Thunderbird Gym.

On Friday, 25-year-old Christopher Krumm barged into a computer science class and shot his father in the head with an arrow. His father taught the class.

Police say 56-year-old James Krumm fought with his son before he died. They say that gave students time to flee without getting hurt. Christopher Krumm died of self-inflicted knife wounds.

Earlier that morning, Krumm killed his fathers girlfriend, 42-year-old Heidi Arnold. She was found dead of stab wounds in front of the home she shared with James Krumm.

Arnold was a math instructor at the college.
