Mar 1, 2012 - StaffNo services are scheduled for Harvey Kennith "Ken" Breedlove, 81, who died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at his home in Fort Washakie.
He was born June 15, 1930, in Russeville, Ala., the son of John Wesley and Myrtal (Woods) Breedlove.
On Aug. 13, 1968, he married Ada M. (Snyder) in Riverton.
His family said that Mr. Breedlove loved to fish and hunt.
He worked in the oil fields throughout Wyoming.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Ada W. Breedlove Compton; daughter Pamala Porter; stepsons Bradley Compton, all of Fort Washakie, Allen Compton of Rapid City, S.D., Robert Compton of Elmer, Wash.; stepdaughter Elizabeth Tranum of Fort Washakie; grandchildren Michael and Ronald Lopez, Ashley and Todd Porter, Julia, Elisia, Lynette, Victoria, Daniel, James, Adrienna, Sam and Ben Compton, Selene Lakey and Robyn McGuiness, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Breedlove was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Breedlove; sister Myrtal Woods, and stepdaughter Karen Smith.
