Priscilla Frances Oldman Black Ybarra

Priscilla Frances Oldman Black Ybarra, of Riverton, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at her home. She was 58 years old.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Dec. 21, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, with Catholic clergy officiating. Interment will follow at the Arapahoe Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, also at the family home.

Priscilla Frances Oldman was born Jan. 22, 1953, in Arapahoe, the daughter of John Baptiste and Bertha Agnes (Armajo) Oldman.

She was a student at the Arapahoe School through the eighth grade, then attended a technical school in Glasgow, Mont., studying to be a certified nurse's aide.

She married Thomas Ybarra in 2003 in Fremont County.

She was of the Catholic faith and studied the Native American Indian Culture.

Mrs. Ybarra was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Indian Reservation and was a homemaker, an Avon representative and a Tupperware saleswoman.

Her family said she enjoyed reading the Bible, going to garage sales, taking pictures, watching movies, making frybread and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ybarra; former spouse Lemuel Black Sr. of Arapahoe; sons Glen Oldman, Sr., Merlin Black, Mervin (K-babes) Black, Sterling Black, Sr., Charles Black, Sr., Leland Black, Lemuel Black Jr., Jose Lockwood and John Goggles; daughters Melanie Black, Letitia Black and Sonia Friday; 26 grandchildren, Tanisha Oldman, Glen Oldman Jr., Jay Shawn, Tearany Black, Anthony Black, CJ Black, Josiah Black, Sincere Black, Buster Black, Cherish Black, Sterling Black Jr., Raquel Black, Francisco Black, Maria Rojas, Todd Bowekaty, Cooxooeii Black, Niiehii Black, Heeyei Niitou Monroe-Black, Brandie Dodge, Heeyei Dodge, Brandon Williams, Stacie Williams, Shanell Williams, Kristen Williams, Natasha Friday and Jenna Black; 12 great-grandchildren, Cetera Moss, Evan J. Oldman, Korbyn D. Buss, Surene Williams, Evan Miles Williams, Brenna K. Williams, Daven G. Williams, Layla Jade Atencio, Mara A. Atencio, Emilyahha Fast Horse, Jaisean Stripped Squirrel and Jayisha Stripped Squirrel; brothers Frank Armajo, John Addison, Wallace Oldman Sr., Lindon Blackwolf, Loren Durgin, Chris SunRhodes and Virgil Oldman; sisters Rose Oldman, Carla Geboe, Roberta Eagle, Connie Brown, Evelina Blackburn, Valaria Arkinson, Louella Monroe, Junie Friday, Lou Oldman, Benita Smith, Cassie Oldman and Elizabeth Yellowbear.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Oldman; mother Bertha Armajo; grandfather Ambrose Oldman; grandmother Mary Antelope; sisters Lucy Williams, Viola Ann Smith and Mary Rose Yellowbear; brothers Jerome Oldman Sr., Benjamin M. Oldman, Glen Oldman and John BadBrave Oldman; grandsons Josaiah Hutchinson Black and Bradley Moss; granddaughters Miracle Black and Helen Black; nieces Olivia Black, Cindi Bell and Trina Dullknife.
