A Christmas Wish

Editor's note: Students at Riverton Middle School have formed a club called the RMS Guild. Members selected three pieces for consideration in our annual Christmas Greetings Edition. One was given permission to be printed anonymously.

A Christmas wish,

I wish to make.

Is one that is true and not a worthless fake.

I look out my window to see the pure white

snow fall to the ground,

It's so quiet, not one little sound.

I bow my head to a prayer position

and begin my wish.

"Dear stars, please pour spirit into

this houseful of hearts.

"Bring smiles to all the little boys and girls,

and bring a white Christmas to this beautiful Earth."
