Jan 10, 2013 - StaffRita Nadine Harrington died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Kindred Hospital of Denver.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Presbyterian Church with burial to follow at the Saratoga Cemetery.
Her family said she enjoyed cooking, ceramics, gardening, fishing, camping, hunting and doing things for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called her "Grandma Nene."
She is survived by her mother, Doris Miller of Cody; sisters DeAnna Black of Saratoga, Joyce Larson of Tucson, Ariz., and Laura Ghormley and her husband Denny of Tucson, Ariz.; brother Gary Soles and his wife Mary Read of Saratoga; former husband Leo Harrington of Riverton; children LeeAnn Charpentier and her husband Steve of Lignite, N.D., Phyllis Whitlock of Kinnear, Justin LaJeunesse of Kinnear, Sandy Larsen and her husband Richard of Riverton, J.D. Harrington and his wife Fran of Holly, Colo., and Kevin Harrington and his wife Laura of Riverton; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Soles, and grandson Justin Daniel Harrington.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association in Mrs. Harrington's name.
