CWC doubleheader postponed in Miles due to bad weatherJan 15, 2013 - By Bruce Tippets, Sports Editor Mother Nature gave the Central Wyoming College men's and women's basketball programs Saturday off when the doubleheader at Miles City Community College was postponed. Snowstorm in Miles City, Mont., over the weekend forced officials to move the doubleheader to Jan. 22. The Rustlers play Wednesday in a doubleheader at Gillette College. The women will go at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men. "We have a very big game on Wednesday at Gillette," CWC men's coach Shelby Lindley said. "Gillette is a good team that can score in bunches." The CWC men are 3-1 in the Region IX North division and 13-3 overall. Gillette College is 9-7 overall and 3-2 in conference. "We have to take care of business on the road," Lindley said. "We have a nice little homestand for a couple of weeks." The Gillette College women are ranked No. 13 in the junior college top 25 poll. Gillette is 15-3 overall and 3-2 in conference. The CWC women stand 0-4 in conference play and 7-10 overall.
