Jan 17, 2013 - From staff reportsDevon Energy recently donated $1,000 to Fremont County School District 25 to help purchase a cement picnic table for the new concession stand area at the Riverton High School's football stadium.
"Supporting youth in our communities is a top priority for Devon and part of our commitment to being a good neighbor," said Bill Skelton, operations superintendent for Devon Energy in Riverton. "We're happy to contribute to the Fremont County school district's efforts to enhance Riverton High School's football stadium facility."
"Fremont County School District 25 appreciates the valuable support of Devon Energy," said Terry Snyder, superintendent for Fremont County District 25. "Devon energy has provided funding, manpower and equipment to help us control the costs associated with the construction and expansion of Wolverine Stadium."
Devon donated nearly $17,000 to youth and school programs throughout Wyoming this year.
