Jan 20, 2013 - StaffRobert A. Rosenthal of Riverton died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton. He was 64 years old.
Viewing is Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 from 5-6:30 p.m. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton. Burial follows Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery in Salt Lake City, also at 3 p.m.
Robert Abraham Rosenthal was born April 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City to Aaron Frank and Lena (Vermy) Rosenthal.
He attended the Uintah Elementary School in Salt Lake City and took special education classes at the University of Utah.
He had lived in Riverton for the past 24 years. He worked for Smith's Food and Drug as a courtesy clerk for 23 years.
Bob Rosenthal is survived by three sisters, Sidney Rosenthal Burgess and husband Bill of Angel Fire, N.M., Arlene Rosenthal Steinert and husband Dave of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Anita Rosenthal Fowers and husband Wayne of Mission Viejo, Calif.; brother-in-law Don Dunn of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; three nieces and eight nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron F. Rosenthal; his mother, Lena Rosenthal Jacobson; his stepfather, Verl A. Jacobson; and a sister, Rachelle Rosenthal Dunn.
