Mar 6, 2012 - StaffThe United States Bureau of Reclamation has named its new Wyoming area manager to oversee operations at Bull Lake Reservoir, Pilot Butte Reservoir and Boysen Reservoir in Fremont County, among others.
Coleman Smith Jr. replaces longtime manager John Lawson, who retired from the agency at the end of 2011.
Smith is scheduled to take over the job on April 8.
"I look forward to the opportunities and challenges Wyoming faces in managing and developing the water resources of tomorrow."
Smith has been the deputy manager of power operations and maintenance for the agency's Pacific Northwest Region in Boise, Idaho.
The Wyoming Area Office is headquartered in Mills.
