Francis C. Goggles, 36, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at his home on the Wind River Reservation.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Blue Sky Hall at Ethete. Interment will be in the Friday Cemetery.
An evening service is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, with a wake to follow at the home of his parents, Patrick and Charlotte Goggles, No. 505 Blue Sky Highway, Ethete.
Francis C. Goggles was born May 22, 1975, in Lander, the son of Patrick and Charlotte Goggles. He was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Indian Reservation. His Indian name was Lone Plume.
He graduated from Wyoming Indian High School in 1994. He participated in the Down Under Bowl in New Zealand in 1994.
Mr. Goggles was a certified heavy equipment operator.
He married Davi Anne Ferris on Feb. 14, 2011, at the Red Rocks amphitheater in Morrison, Colo.
His family said he was a Chiefs fan and enjoyed concerts, hunting, fishing, camping, football and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Goggles is survived by his parents, Patrick and Charlotte Goggles; wife, Davi Anne Goggles; daughter Halle Rose Goggles; adopted daughters Aleigha C'Bearing and Marina Jarvis; son Jordan Lane Goggles; adopted sons Redstone and Henry Quiver Jr.; sister Patricia Shakespeare and her husband Travis Shakespeare Sr.; brothers Tate Goggles and Henry Quiver Sr.; brother-in-law Darrell Underwood Sr.; grandparents Caroline Goggles, Verna Thunder, Bobby Joe and Ruth Mary Goggles, John and Geneva Emhoolah, Beatrice Weasel Bear, Al Willow Sr., Dorothy Gambler, Gene and Mildred Goggles; sundance grandfather Sammy Dresser; aunts Rachel Grant and husband George, Gloria C'Bearing, Salina "Kissie" Quiver, Karen Noon, Cheryl Cozad, Debbie and Glenna Emhoolah and Cleo Goggles; uncles Dean Goggles and wife Rose, Gary Goggles and wife Gloria, Gilbert McCabe, Wesley Martel, Chico Her Many Horses and Bill Goggles; adopted parent Milton Trosper Sr.; sisters-in-law T. Alexis Eppler, Marie Eppler and husband Tony Primeaux, Lori Horn, Allie Jo Ferris and Dionne Ferris; brothers-in-law Kyle Horn and Shane Brown; nieces and nephews Stuart Chaske Goggles, Jaison Underwood, Kirk and Travis Shakespeare Jr., and Darrell Underwood Jr., Shyloh Underwood, Skyla Shakespeare, Jae Vigil, Amelia Crispin and Dominique Eustace; the extended families of Willow, C'Bearing, Friday, Goggles, Sage, Thunder and Trosper.
He was preceded in death by family members Cyndee Sweetwillow Goggles Underwood, Keith Goggles, Mike Crispin and Baudelio Gutierrez; grandparents Chris Goggles, Henry and Salina C'Bearing, Ardeline Spotted Elk, Abraham and Pat C'Bearing, Emma Armour, Henrietta Crispin, Johnson Bearing and Catfish John Yellowplume; brothers-in-law Daniel and Dee Dee Ferris Jr. and Shane Horn.
Services are provided by Wind Dancer Funeral Home of Fort Washakie.
