New office for superintendentJan 31, 2013 - Staff Enforcement of Senate File 104 began this week when State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill was ordered to vacate her office at the Wyoming Department of Education. Hill, elected in 2010 by a substantial margin over Democrat Mike Massie, said Wednesday that she has been ordered to move to this office in the rear of the Barrett Building in Cheyenne near the parking lot service entrance. The bill stripping Hill of her authority as superintendent was signed Tuesday by Gov. Matt Mead. Hill has filed suit to contest the action. |
