Feb 13, 2013 - StaffBillie Jean Dillon died Friday, Jan. 8, 2013, surrounded by her siblings. She was 70 years old.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery.
Billie Jean Dillon was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Lovell, the oldest child of Bill and Loa Dillon.
At the age of 5, she went to live in Lander at the State Training School.
She came home in 2003 and made her home at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell where she continued to touch the lives of others with her funny personality and her fighting spirit.
Her family said she touched the lives of many people she came into contact with, and she is now free of her disabilities and pain.
She is survived by her sisters, Peg Snell and her husband Mike, Pam Currie and her husband Jim, Jane Schneider and her husband John, Sue McKinny and her husband Shane, and Toni Bassett and her husband Tom; and brothers Tom Dillon and Scott Dillon and his wife Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Loa Dillon, and her nephew Stuart Currie.
