Feb 15, 2013 - StaffHarry F. Cutshaw died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at his home in Lander. He was 80 years old.
At his request, no services will be held.
Harry Cutshaw was born Jan. 1, 1933, the son of Clarence and Frances (Van Horn) Cutshaw in Concordia, Kan.
He married Betty Lanelle Blakey on June 10, 1956, in Albany, Ga. The couple then moved to Nebraska, and then later to Lander in the early 1960s. Shortly after their arrival, he began working for US Steel as an equipment operator until they closed in the early 1980s. He then worked for the Hart Ranch on the North Fork as a ranch manager until he became too ill.
His family said he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and working in his yard, especially planting trees.
He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; son Curtis Cutshaw and his wife Angela of Lander; daughter Anne M. Cutshaw of Lander; sister MaLee Mahoney of Lander; cousins Jim and Lucille Legg of Sheridan and Dorothy Legg of Cody; grandchildren Kara Cutshaw of Phoenix, Michaela Villafona of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Mandy Cutshaw, Tara Page of Casper, Amber Brown and Charlie Brown; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Cindy Brown; and brother Roger Cutshaw.
