Feb 20, 2013 - StaffSara Elizabeth Cross died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She was 30 years old.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at St. John Lutheran Church, with Pastor Scott Jorgenson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Viewing will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Davis Funeral Home.
Sara Elizabeth Cross was born April 2, 1982, in Riverton, the daughter of Larry and Arlene Cross.
She attended the Big Horn Basin Childrené─˘s Center from 1988 through 2003 and graduated when she was 21. She had lived eight years at Community Entry Services in Lander and the last year in Riverton with a caregiver.
Her family said she enjoyed being home with her family and caregivers, and she was a special little girl who everyone loved.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Arlene Cross of Riverton; brother Bryan Cross of Riverton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in various cities.
She was preceded in death by her aunt Mary; grandparents; and special friends Bob and Irene Root.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
