Back Country Mudd opens second shop

Feb 28, 2013 - By Alejandra Silva, Staff Writer

Whether it's a cappuccino, tea, coffee, an Italian soda or a smoothie that customers are in the mood for, Back Country Mudd is ready to serve it.

The drive-through coffee shop's second location at 940 College View Drive opened its windows Monday morning.

The shop serves a variety of drinks and other goodies such as cookies, coffee cakes, and whipped cream by the cup.

"The anticipation has finally been rewarded," owner Renay Nichols said. "We're excited to serve."

Nichols also owns the location on North Federal Boulevard with her mother, Anne McIntosh.

More products will eventually be added to the menu, Nichols said, as well as signs outside the coffee shop.

She said she plans on extending business hours when Riverton High School, which is located across the street, has events after regular school hours.
