Mar 8, 2013 - StaffLinda Brantley died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in her home. She was 62 years old.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Eagle Hall in Riverton. Cremation has taken place.
Linda Brantley was born Feb. 7, 1951, in Lander, the daughter of Raymond "Dude" Peterson.
She married Joseph Christopher Brantley on Oct. 31, 1990.
Aside from spending some time during her youth in Colorado, she spent most of her life in Fremont County.
Mrs. Brantley was a member of the Eagles for 25 years, served in many community activities, and donated much of her time to the Women's Help Center.
She worked for more than 30 years as a licensed bonded title agent.
Her family said she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and pets. Her family said she enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, seeing the fall colors in the Wind River Mountains, and could not resist rock and stump hunting for never-ending landscaping projects. She also enjoyed watching any crime investigation show, traveling and shopping.
She is survived by her husband, Chris of Riverton; son Ryan Johnson of Sheridan; daughter Erin Michelle Crider of Sheridan; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, and grandparents Lafeyette E. and Catherine Willard.
