Mar 13, 2013 - By Katie Roenigk, Staff WriterFederal officials are investigating the Sunday discovery of a dead body on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
Limited information was available, but Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesman Dave Joly confirmed that a body was found.
He described the remains as "decomposing."
"We don't know who the victim is yet," he said. "The investigation is going to take some time."
He did not know whether the deceased individual was a man or woman, and he also did not know where or when the body was found.
"It's on the reservation," he said. "It was sometime on Sunday."
