Iowa firm to search for WDE director

ROCK SPRINGS -- An Iowa-based company will lead the national search for the person who will lead Wyoming's education department.

The state education board selected Ray and Associates, Inc. of Cedar Rapids. It was the only company that proposed using social media and finishing the search by June 30.

Some board members were concerned that the company didn't know much about Wyoming and that the timeline might be too tight.
