Carr has been elected as the president of the Lander Baseball Association this year.
The registration deadline for players is Thursday.
Players can pick up registration forms up at Lander City Hall, Lander Parks and Recreation, and all the schools.
The Lander minors division is for 9-to-10-year-olds.
The major division is for 11-12 and the Babe Ruth is for 13-15. The rookies league will be for players 7-8.
The cost for the rookies league is $30 per player. The minors and majors require $45 per player.
The cost for Babe Ruth is $50 per player.
Lander Baseball Association will be holding a registration night from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lander Parks and Recreation Center.
"We are always excited to get the season started," Carr said. "We are starting to see the grass come out from underneath the snow, and the weather is starting to warm up."
Carr is expecting four or five teams in both the minors and majors divisions.
Lander fielded two Babe Ruth teams.
Lander and Riverton combined to play in the same league.
"We are getting to the point in minors, majors and Babe Ruth to compete with other teams from around the county," Carr said.
Lander had 15 players on each team.
"We are planning on playing in the same league with Riverton this year for Babe Ruth," Carr said.
A skills night for players has been planned for Monday, March 25, at the Lander Valley High School auxiliary gym.
Players in the minors division go from 6 p.m.-6:45 p.m.
"We encourage our guys that are going to be coaching to look at some of the players and see what they can do," Carr said. "We try to make the teams pretty fair, so nobody is really stacked."
The major players skills night are from 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
