Mar 19, 2013 - StaffShirley Ann (Bolmes) Enos died Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton. She was 77 years old.
Born in Lander on February 8, 1936, to Helen (Harting) and Frederick Bolmes, she lived and attended schools in Lander and graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School. She married Frank Louis Enos on June 20, 1954, and they spent their first few years in Colorado while Frank Enos attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. While in Fort Collins, they had a son, Royal, born in 1956, and then a daughter, Natalie, born in 1958.
Following graduation from CSU, the family moved to Rigby, Idaho, and then back to the Fort Washakie and Lander area. Another son, Craig, was born in 1964. Mr. and Mrs. Enos also raised two foster children, Abigail and Lucy Washakie.
Mrs. Enos was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother and was very active as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She belonged to numerous organizations. Special hobbies included gardening, sewing, cooking, genealogy and scrapbooking.
She is survived by daughter Natalie (William) Henderson, son Royal (Becky) Enos; brother Warren L. (Joann) Bolmes; sister Brenda (Robert) Curtiss; grandchildren Brooke (Heath) Jones, Robin (Scott) Neubauer, Frank B. Enos, Jalaina (Anthony) Fontanez, Rashawn Henderson, Sonjia Enos and Brandon Enos, and six great-grandchildren.
