Mar 29, 2013 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff WriterThe Riverton Lady Wolverines made a long, one-day trip to Gillette and fell Thursday to the Lady Camels 2-0 in a Class 4-A non-conference soccer match.

Gillette scored early in the third minute and added insurance in the 48th minute.
"Gillette is traditionally very quick and quick to the ball, and this team is no different. They were fast and had well-timed runs," Riverton Lady Wolverine head coach Tanya Santee said.
Riverton managed just three shots in the match, according to Santee.
"We certainly came back much more organized in the second half. We had opportunities to score that we couldn't capitalize on," Santee said.
The Lady Wolverines will take a short holiday break and resume practice Tuesday.
"We played against two teams this week that played two different styles. We had trouble with Gillette's speed and speed of play," Santee said.
Santee said her team struggled to win 50-50 balls.
"That tends to be our MO. But our defense was able to pull it together and was able to stop a lot of opportunities," Santee said.
