Apr 5, 2013 - From staff reportsSteven Amos, 41, of Riverton, was arrested for indecent dress and exposure at about noon Thursday after reportedly leaving Riverton Memorial Hospital wearing only "a shirt and a smile," according to RPD Capt. C.T. Smith, who said alcohol was involved in the incident.
"This was an intoxicated individual that was at the hospital, and he decided he didn't want to be there anymore, so he took off," Smith said. "He ran all over the place."
Dispatchers were heard relaying reports that a man wearing only a shirt and no pants was walking along College View Drive.
"He kind of got a little bit away from (the hospital)," Smith said.
According to reports, Amos was apprehended at 12:18 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Rose Lane near RMH.
"He was found in the shrubbery," Smith said.
Smith said he was unsure of what happened to Amos's clothes, but he said officers supplied the suspect with pants after Amos was taken into custody.
