Wolverine soccer teams tangle Thursday with Natrona

Apr 24, 2013 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff Writer

The Riverton Wolverines boys and girls soccer teams are back in action Thursday with games scheduled against Casper Natrona.

The varsity boys kick off at 6 p.m. at Wolverine Field in Riverton, while the girls will travel to Casper for a 6 p.m. match

Saturday, the girls will play an early home game at Wolverine Field against Kelly Walsh. The match is set to begin at noon.

The boys will travel Saturday to Casper for a 1 p.m. varsity match against Kelly Walsh.

Both matches against the Casper schools are Class 4-A West conference matches.

The RHS activities office announced this week that the Riverton/Lander match that was rescheduled to be played on May 1 has now been cancelled because of conference matches that Lander must make up because of earlier weather postponements.

The Riverton/Rock Springs girls makeup match is still scheduled for Monday, April 29, and will be the girls final home match of the season.
