Anna Blair, longtime resident of Riverton, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the home of her family in Springville, Utah. She was 85 years old.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 606 N. Eighth St. W., Riverton, WY 82501. Burial will be in the Nooner Family Cemetery in Perry County, Arkansas.
Anna McAdam was born Aug. 30, 1927, in Winnett, Mont., the daughter of Robert McAdam and Maude Griffin McAdam. She was the seventh of 13 children.
She graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1945 and married Bill Blair on Oct. 15, 1949. They moved to Wyoming to work in the oil industry. Later they owned and operated Blair's Laundry in Riverton for many years.
Mrs. Blair was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Red Hat Society and the Hospital Auxiliary. She assisted with the library book sales and bowled on many leagues.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelli House and her husband Brett of Springville, Utah; grandchildren Eric House and his wife Michelle of Santaquin, Utah, Joy Zabriskie and her husband Kurt of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Jesssie House of Springville, Utah; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Frank "Scotty" McAdam and his wife Helen of Casper, Charles McAdam and his wife Arlene of Grand Junction, Colo., Don McAdam and his wife Helen of Casper, William "Ted" McAdam and his wife Mary Lou of Grand Lake, Colo., and Max McAdam of Farmington, Minn.; sisters Mary Norton of Redding, Calif., Mona Arnott and her husband Paul of Great Falls, Mont.; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill; brothers Lloyd, Robert and Roy; and sisters Blanche and Glennette.
