May 5, 2013 - By Christina George, Staff WriterGraduation season in Fremont County kicks off Friday, May 10, with the 43rd class of Central Wyoming College.
Commencement at the college is from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theater on the main campus in Riverton.
The theater also will play host for the GED graduation from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11.
Commencements for school districts countywide begin Friday, May 17, with Pathfinder High School in Lander. The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. at the CWC Sinks Canyon Center.
St. Stephen's Indian School's graduation is also May 17, beginning at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium.
Fort Washakie High School's commencement begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the school.
More ceremonies are planned for Sunday, May 19, with Lander, Shoshoni and Wyoming Indian. Lander Valley High School's celebration is at 1 p.m. at the Bob Carey Memorial Fieldhouse adjacent to the school. Shoshoni's and Wyoming Indian's events both begin at 2 p.m. in the schools' gymnasiums.
Arapaho Charter High School's graduation starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the former gymnasium on the Arapaho Elementary School campus.
Several graduations are set for Memorial Day weekend. Riverton, Wind River and Dubois have ceremonies Sunday, May 26.
Riverton's begins at 1 p.m., Dubois is at 2 p.m. and Wind River starts at 4 p.m. The commencements will be at the schools' gymnasiums.
