Parents invited to participate in p.e. challenge at Rendezvous

May 5, 2013 - Staff

Parents of Rendezvous Elementary School students in Riverton are invited to the school the week of May 6-10 to participate in physical education classes that will be conducted on the track and field west of the school.

Rendezvous also will conduct a school-wide competition among the third, fourth and fifth grades. The grade with the greatest number of laps walked around the track at the end of the week will be declared the champion.

Parents are invited to come and walk with their children throughout the week of the competition.

A parent who walks will earn twice the number of laps for the child's classroom.

The winning classrooms will have the honor of showcasing the Rendezvous Golden Sandals before the trophy is housed in the school trophy case for all grades to enjoy.

The Running Rattlers will be competing in their fun run at 2:25 p.m. Thursday.

Club members will be jogging a mile, and there will be prizes for the runners for each grade level.
