William Edward Marsh was born July 19, 1924, in House, N.M., the son of the late William Henry and Mae Marsh.
He graduated from Bethany Peniel College and earned a master's degree in counseling from University of Wyoming. He had a long career as a school guidance counselor in Riverton.
His family said he worked hard, enjoyed woodworking and loved to hunt in Wyoming. He loved children and being a junior high guidance counselor. Most of all, he loved and served God.
He is survived by his son, Carter, and his wife Ellyn; daughters Becky and her husband Lee and Cindy and her husband Mark; grandchildren Willy and his wife Sheri, Gwyn and her husband Paul, Lisa, Hannah and her husband Adam, Andrew and Luke; great-grandchildren Cooper, Owen, Alex, Abbey, Isaiah, Rebecca and Elijah; sisters Marie and Frona; and brothers Murl and Earl.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Ramona; sister Christina; and brother Archie.
