May 16, 2013 - StaffShoshoni junior Lawry Johnson, above right, led Wyoming Indian senior Alvin Spoonhunter early in the Class 2-A 3,200-meter run Thursday at the Wyoming state track meet in Casper. Spoonhunter came back to win the event, and Johnson placed third. Dubois High School junior Sterling Baker, right, had his best throw of the season in winning the Class 1-A discus state championship Thursday morning. All three athletes also are entered in other events at the state meet, which concludes Saturday at Kelly Walsh High School.
