May 17, 2013 - StaffDonna Hill, of Riverton, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at her home. She was 78 years old.
Per her request, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
Donna Marie Merrill was born May 8, 1934, in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of Newell Knight and Lillie Merle (Marshall) Merrill. She was one of eight children. She grew up in Utah and lived there until eight years ago when she moved to Riverton.
She married Vern Hill on July 23, 1993, in Sandy, Utah.
She worked for several different companies as a payroll clerk, including Slumber J and C. R. England.
She was an active member of the Intermountain Cadillac Club.
Her family said she enjoyed her family and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Vern, of Riverton; son Rod Hill of Bountiful, Utah; daughters Kim Galles and her husband Brent of Riverton and Dayna Naab and her husband Greg of Alpine; brothers Ron Merrill and his wife Lenette of Syracuse, Utah, and Dwyane Merrill and his wife Vicky of Vernal, Utah; three grandsons; and three granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Mark Lyman; and siblings Richard, Dallas, Marva Rae, Orva Mae and Ruby.
