May 17, 2013 - By Craig Blumenshine, Staff WriterFor the fourth time this season, the Casper Natrona Fillies dominated the Riverton Lady Wolverines in girls soccer and won 5-0 in consolation play Friday at the Class 4-A state high school soccer tournament in Rock Springs.
The loss follows Riverton's first-round 7-0 setback to Laramie.
It ends the season for first-year head coach Tanya Santee and her Lady Wolverine squad.
It was the second consecutive year that the Lady Wolverines (6-11-1) could not muster a goal or a a win at the state soccer tournament.
Casper Natrona, which entered the tournament as the second seed from the Class 4-A West, advances in consolation play and will meet either Kelly Walsh or Green River in Saturday's all Class 4-A West consolation final.
The winners' side of the bracket has only Class 4-A East teams. Laramie played Cheyenne Central, and Cheyenne East battled Sheridan in semifinal action Friday afternoon.
