May 23, 2013 - StaffCurtis E. LeClair Sr., of Ethete, died in May. He was 62 years old.

Curtis E. LeClair Sr. was born Feb. 25, 1950, in Fort Washakie, the son of Edward LeClair Sr. and Elta Mae (Cady) LeClair.
He attended the Fremont County Vocational High School and St. Stephen's school.
He married Arleen J. Snyder on June 6, 1983, in Jackson.
Mr. LeClair spent his entire life in Fremont County where he worked as an outfitter/guide in his younger years and later in construction. For most of his life he ranched his place on Ethete Road.
His family said he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going on horse pack trips in the mountains. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Arleen; mother Elta Mae LeClair; sons Thomas Brunswick and his wife Jennifer of Granger, Lisle Monroe and his wife Estella of Encampment, Alan LeClair and his wife Natalia of Ethete and Curtis LeClair and his wife Barbara of Ethete; daughter Rose Norris and her husband Russell of Morton; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Edward LeClair and his wife Kathy of Malin, N.M., Roy LeClair and his wife Jeri of Kinnear, and Mitch LeClair and his wife Susan of Boulder Flat; and sister Alice Ferris of Fort Washakie.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandson Justin "Beaver" Norris; grandparents; nephews Ben Lee Ferris, Richard Ferris Jr. and Dennis Phillip.
